2. What is included in the sales package?
The sales package includes the wireless headset (white, silver or charoal), wall charger and user guide.
3. How do I wear BHS-302?
Your Iqua BHS-302 has an innovative clip-system which allows to attach the headset body where ever you want, such as shirt or a pocket, as instructed in user guide. You can keep the earpiece in its magnetic holder or once on call place the earpiece comfortably in your ear.
4. How long do I need to charge the BHS-302?
Before using BHS-302 you need to charge the device for approximately 3 hours. When the red light is turned off, the battery is fully charged. Please note, that when you plug the charger into a wall socket for charging, the device is automatically switched off and cannot be used while charging. This will enable more quicker charging.
5. Which phones are compatible with this headset?
The BHS-302 can be used with any brand of Bluetooth® mobile phones that support the Headset or Handsfree profiles. Please see the compatible phones here.
6. How does the Bluetooth technology work in this wireless handsfree?
Bluetooth technology is based on a radio with a receiver and a transmitter built into a tiny microchip. One of these microchips is incorporated in the Wireless handsfree, and another is integrated into the compatible phone. Bluetooth technology allows wireless connections between the handsfree and mobile phone within a radius of up to 10 meters without a physical cable or line-of-sight connection.
7. How is the Bluetooth connection established between the compatible phone and the wireless handsfree?
To use the handsfree for the first time, enter the Bluetooth passcode (0000) to create the connection. As the first user, you become the default user of the handsfree. Both the default user and the last user of the wireless handsfree are able to connect automatically when reconnecting. Other users can connect to the handsfree from the compatible phone's Bluetooth menu by selecting 'Connect' from the list of paired devices.
8. How many users does the handsfree support?
There can be up to eight different users for one handsfree, but only one user can have an active connection at any one time. By adjusting the handsfree according to the instructions in the User Guide, the pairing information can be erased and additional users can be paired.
9. Can the headset battery be replaced?
No, the battery cannot be replaced. If you experience problems with the battery, please contact your reseller.
10. How to reset the paired devices list?
BHS-302 can be paired with up to 8 Bluetooth devices. If you want to pair it with more devices, you need to erase the paired device information. To reset the pairing list on BHS-302, hold and press both Volume Down and Volume Up- buttons.
11. Can I change the passcode?
No, the passcode for pairing cannot be changed, but the passcode is only needed for the first pairing with a phone. When the pairing has been made once, the headset automatically reconnects to the default and last users.
12. How does the BHS-302 indicate that there is an active connection between the handsfree and the phone?
You will see a blinking blue light when there is an active Bluetooth connection between the handsfree and the compatible phone. You will also see the headset icon on the display of your phone.
13. Can voice tags stored in the compatible phone be used from the handsfree?
Yes, you can activate the voice dial by pressing and holding the Volume Down- button until you hear a sound, which indicates that you can start saying the voice tag. Please note that not all Bluetooth phones support voice-activated dialing through Bluetooth. Check this with your phone manufacturer. Also you must set the voice tags on your phone to use voice-activated dialing.
14. Which chargers can be used for charging the BHS-302?
We recommend that users only use the charger provided in the sales package of the BHS-302.
